Last weekend our family went up to Twin Falls, ID. for a basketball tournament. We had a great time watching Andrew and his basketball team play. They took third. Which was pretty good considering we only had 6 players. Andrew did great. We had a little scare in the 2nd game. For those that don't know he is just coming back from a knee injury that happened the 2nd of February. He doesn't quite have his lungs or full speed back. During the 2nd game against a great team. He went all out to come from behind a kid during a fast break and stuffed him. He then told his coach he needed to come out. He couldn't breathe. He was almost to the point of hyperventalating. After about 5 min. Layne took him outside to see if the cooler outside air would do him any good. Another 5 min went by then they came back in. I went and sat by him and he told me he couldn't feel his legs from the knee down or his feet. So I rubbed one leg while Layne rubbed the other. Then I took off his shoe and rubbed his sweaty foot while Layne did the other. (There is no limit to a parent's love...as anyone who knows me can attest to my dislike of rubbing feet clean or not.) After another 5 minutes or so he said he was good to go back in and play. His coach rested him quite a bit after that. The next day however we were down another player. One of our big guys. Come to find out he pulled his hamstring somehow. So he stayed and watched our first game the next day then left for home and to find a Dr. to get going on his leg. So we grabbed a cousin of one of our players who was from the area to help play and give our guys a little rest. We also had some family fun. We went to Shoshone Falls, played some mini-golf and went swimming. We had a great time. Side note...Our neighbors who were up in Boise to watch the USU game came to watch Andrew's last game on Friday night and took Connor home with them so he could attend his basketball party the next day with his friends. That is why there are no pictures of Connor. :)

I'm glad Andrew is okay, that would have been scary! He needs to take it easy! Sounds like you all had a good time!!
We love IF, My brother lived there for a couple of years a few years ago. They lived in a new subdivision and could hear the falls from their back porch. We had a great time just visiting and listening to the falls. Glad andrew is ok. Congrats on a great tournament. Lexy played 2 games today. Her team playes one more tomorrow morning. They won the 2 today. She is also having a great time. Traveling b-ball is a lot of fun...
