Next week is the 150 year celebration of Smithfield. Our cities annual celebration is called Health Days. They have a poster contest based on the Health Days theme each year for the elementary school students. This year Connor, Cole and Katie participated. We went to a ceremony tonight to announce the winners in each grade category. Each child received a prize for participating. The winners received an extra prize package. Cole won 1st place for 2nd grade. Katie won 3rd place for Kindergarten. Connor didn't win an extra prize but was very excited for his brother and sister. The theme was "Smithfield 150 years Living Well". *Just as a side note Cole entered this competition last year and also took 1st place in his category. He is quite an artist.

Totally over-achievers don't ya think? Maybe you guys could tone it down a bit so the rest of look kind of normal.
